Proper have seen another great week of results with multiple entries across the UK charts.

Pearl Charles leads the pack with her latest album Desert Queen (Last Night From Glasgow), landing at an impressive #3 on the Scottish Albums Chart, #6 on the Independent Albums Chart, and #11 on the Physical Albums Chart. The album’s warm reception solidifies Charles’ growing influence in the UK indie scene.

Betty Boo returns with a double feature: her classic Boomania and newer project Grrr, It’s Betty Boo both debuting in multiple charts. Boomania hits #9 on both the Independent and Vinyl Albums Charts, while also appearing at #20 in the Physical Artist Albums and #38 in the Scottish Albums Chart. Grrr, It’s Betty Boo makes a strong showing as well, including #12 on the Independent Albums Chart and #31 on both Physical Artist and Vinyl Albums Charts.

Rising folk talent Chloe Foy earns a spot at #35 on the Independent Albums Chart with Complete Fool, while ambient outfit Marconi Union enters at #39 with The Fear Of Never Landing.

Folk singer Sam Kelly charts at #55 in the Independent Albums with Dreamers Dawn, and blues-rock guitarist Joanne Shaw Taylor appears at #26 on the Jazz & Blues Albums Chart with Heavy Soul.

Finally, MJ Lenderman’s Manning Fireworks sneaks in at #190 on the Scottish Albums Chart, rounding out another diverse and genre-spanning week of chart results for Proper.
