The sales team are supremely knowledgeable and helpful with an energy rarely seen in distribution these days.

As a retailer what we expect from a distributor is quite simple: the right product, at the right price, at the right time, and in the right place. (Sounds easy but not many do it well.) Proper do all that and more: they have a great sales team, good stock control and fantastic customer service – nothing is ever too much trouble. Our favourite distributor by far.

Proper are one of the easiest, and most reliable distributors to work with. This said, when we wanted to start trading with a new label that we’d not previously dealt with – we knew from experience, that if we put them in touch with Proper to manage their distribution, the trading relationship would be seamless. I have dealt with Proper on various business levels since the end of 2008, and in more recent years with them acting as UK distributor for the majority of releases across the Membran group.
